“You’ll own nothing” — And “you’ll be happy about it.”

Have you heard of this statement?

Reportedly, it is a quote from Klaus Schwab, the Founder and Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum, the International Organization for Public-Private Cooperation.

No, I am not going to go down the rabbit hole of the Great Reset here. If you are keen to learn more, I recommend this medium post by Wounded Healer.

Personally, I will own something and I will be happy about it.

In this post, I am just going to reflect on how Hive and Leo Finance blogging is helping me own something valuable and become happier.

Quite simply, through Hive and Leo Finance I have access to a community of wise financial bloggers. We keep each other in check in a strange way when we dish out related strategies to share. Such as this by mistakili@mistakili. His post reminded me that blockchain technology is here to stay, and we are early. As an early-enough investor, it is likely that I will profit enough later and have the financial means to buy real estate to own it. I have this faith, but it is certainly not financial advice for you! :)

Now, here comes the becoming happier part.

I have previously written a post to ponder if Hive will ever become a global need. If it will, Hive will be my best investment in the blockchain space. Well, I have reasoned that it depends on Hive users writing quality posts at a collective level. When the world knows that Hive is a place where quality information can be found and interacted upon, all while getting rewarded, more will use Hive and Hive price will increase.

More importantly, someday, Hive could become the place where people become happier as people come and write reflections that matters most to themselves. In fact, I am using it that way right now. And I feel great as writing Hive posts feels like a hobby activity, and I savor it.

This realization is in part due to me venturing outside the Leo Finance community. In my recent post on Universality of Hive, I shared how I see Hive as something for everyone. Indeed, there are people who share thoughts on travel, photography, philosophy, humour, education, and lots more. In so doing, Hivers undergo personal growth inevitably as reflections occur.

P/S: This is not financial advice, and please do your own due diligence before investing.

If you read this far... and if you are a like-minded Hiver who is on the path to learning more about Hive and crypto investing, and if you like to be tagged when I write such posts, I welcome you to leave a comment below and let me know. We can form an alliance to support each other's growth.
