HIVE’s price follows economic trends. The market is in a downturn right now—it’s a widespread phenomenon. It’s not just a problem for HIVE.
Fear is a human trait. But confronting that fear by pointing fingers at potential culprits is doubly foolish: 1) they don’t understand economic trends; 2) they create unnecessary and unproductive noise because they don’t solve problems—they just point fingers.
I believe that in this HIVE project, and in many others, a purge will take place. Separating the wheat from the chaff.
Those who have already profited but are now in the red will find a window of opportunity to exit. Those who truly believe in the project and think long-term have a new window: to take advantage of the price drop to accumulate.
It will be an opportunity for those with limited resources, and those who are faithful to the principle of not investing what they might need for daily living (given their vulnerability), to buy low and gain influence on the platform and and earn a higher return in the future.
There will always be a balance between those who leave and those who stay and join. I believe more in many with little than in a few with a lot.
