People are getting infected with the corona virus left and right, even actors and NBA players are getting it too, no one is safe from it but the only few that have a stronger immune system. But having a stronger immune system is not a factor that you can survive it because things come into play like your financial capacity to get a better supportive treatment and the number of people that got it besides you which would affect the way hospitals can accommodate you.
Now we are hearing the new term "Social distancing" in the media, it is a kind of way a person should limit themselves into making a contact with others or group of people. It makes sense because the virus seems to be very transmissible with one for example would get sick and the others around that individual will eventually get sick.
The incubation period, meaning the amount of time that a person would carry the disease before showing signs of infection is long. So that person could infect people before knowing that they too are infected which would worsen the capability of the health authorities to trace the actual source of the disease.

What we could do now is to just limit our travels and mingling with people. To always wear masks even the surgical masks which aim more to protect others from you when you talk because when people talk they would let out droplets in the air that could travel in meters and if you are talking to someone directly they would certainly be infected if you and them are not protected.
We also must be prepared with the basics in case that there is a lockdown, basic things like food and non-perishable ones are preferred so we will not waste food for that matter. What I am fearing was the lockdown of my town or province and then it makes a scarcity of basic necessities affecting our lives here.
This virus is not to be taken lightly because you can determine the severity of the situation by looking at what government does because they know the real statistics and if they would quarantine the whole province, town, country, stop trades or travel, you know that the situation is a real threat. We just have to prepare now.
