AltCoins could possibly gain from the Bitcoin scaling debate

Bitcoin dropped over 5% the last days and all Altcoins dropped massively along with it. Some even over 50% which makes no sense on the long run because some hold more value then even Bitcoin. 

With the 1st of August deadline coming up where we should get more clarity on the Bitcoin scaling debate, I expect that the AltCoins could start gaining from now on. 

LiteCoin 

Now with LiteCoin being a clone of Bitcoin with the SegWith already successfully integrated (yes, without any huge drama as we currently see with Bitcoin) I personally see huge potential for this coin.

When Bitcoin drama kicks in, people want alternatives

So overall I foresee many Altcoins that could preform really well during the Bitcoin scaling debate and boyond. Bitcoin is currently the largest and most dominant Crypto out there, but it makes no sense that all Crypto's suffering so extremly bad over the Bitcoin scaling debate.
