Every individual in the world comprehends value with a different set of personal allusions.
Media is assuming what is intelligible to the sender's imagination is broadcast to a receptor with the means to trust that what is illusionary is valuable; that a digital image is something real.
The mind knows that an image will always be a figment of another's imagination and so accepts it in the context of trust.
No one was ever educated or conditioned for trusting media. The mind was just introduced to specs of light as images and waves of sound as voice and it was assumed that would not be questioned.
This relationship between trust and allusion to value is what has resulted in the blockchain. It is why the concept of metadata exists. It is responsible for NFT being accepted on the most gut level of the creation of value. And it is why this art can use the principles of gestalt to unite actual collectibles with virtual collectibles into a universal understanding that the only real value lies in historical provenance.
A reboot of trust in the digital age is what this is about. The everyday, every-man understanding of collectibles qualifies them to be records in a blockchain's distributed ledger. That's as good a description of what a blockchain does as any.
Once that is recognized, there can be expected an understanding of the numbers that exist as they relate to the art form that codifies the structure of the knot, as in the image shown here, that steps into the realm of measuring systemic reality as a sequential growth pattern. Notwithstanding typos and general mistakes in language, the steemit blockchain is witnessing the true intention of what an Internet art should be made of.
Once this attracts those that possess the actual valuables of the experiment that began with Woodstock '95, it follows that the concept of the knot, or any other virtually oriented NFT, will grab their curiosity and they will be ready to be a base for those that see the benefits of understanding what the difference between the digital world and the factual world is.
