How to add a description and profile + background images for your Hive account?
How to do it?
How do I set up images and description on my Hive account?
Excellent question! I'll answer it in a moment. I'll show how to do it on Hive.blog, Ecency, and PEAKD.

How to do it on Ecency?
After logging into https://ecency.com/, go to your profile and Settings.
What, where, how?
- Display name
The name that people accessing your blog will see. An account on Hive can have a certain number of characters and no spaces. For some people this is a problem, but you can change it here. Remember that your account will still have the original name for logging in or making transfers. This only changes the name that readers who visit your profile see.
- About
Write what your blog is about, so that a user who accidentally came to your profile can immediately find out what topics you write about.
- Profile image
Your profile picture will be displayed as an icon next to each of your comments and will be visible on your blog here.
You can paste a link to the photo.
Or load them from your computer or phone by clicking the blue icon.
- Cover image
The background photo you see on your blog.
- Website
Your website or social media links.
- Location
If you want to reveal where you live, please do. Maybe you will meet someone from the same town and it will make it easier to arrange a meeting for a beer or coffee. Remember, however, to be careful while making acquaintances through the Internet. You can also use this field as an additional place for links to your websites or social media.
When you have completed everything, confirm your changes by clicking Update.
How to do the same on Hive.blog?
Just like on Ecency, and even easier because there is one less click.
Confirm the change by clicking 'Update'.
How to do the same on PEAKD?
It's a little different on PEAKD.
Add display name, description, upload images/paste links to images.
Confirm the changes by clicking Continue.
Where to find an image for the background and profile?
You can make one or find one in Canva, for example.
You can also use free images on sites like Pexels or Pixabay.
