Global companies losses more than 59 billion dollars, due to the suspension of their activities in Russia and the sanctions imposed on the country, as a number of international companies announced a complete or temporary suspension of activities in Russia, and some of those companies also transferred their assets to the ownership of local entrepreneurs, after imposing a number of western countries economic sanctions against Russia.
These companies suffered a decline in the value of their Russian assets due to a decrease in the number of domestic buyers, which led to significant losses.
Nearly 1,000 companies have committed to getting out of Russia completely or cutting back some business there.
