Eid al-Adha is one of the two holidays for Muslims (the other Eid is Eid al-Fitr). This holiday is a memory of the story of the Prophet Ibrahim when he saw a dream in which God commanded him to sacrifice his son, and after his son and he believes in the vision, God then ordered him to sacrifice a sacrifice instead of his son, so Muslims approach God on this day by sacrificing one of the livestock (a sheep, a cow, or a camel ) and distributing the meat of the sacrifice to relatives, the poor, and the people of their household, hence the name Eid al-Adha.
On the first day, relatives also go to their relatives and give them money and specially to the children, and we offer the guests chocolate and sweets. Everyone for this occasion buys new clothes, and on the second day they go out to places of entertainment. In addition, we eat one of the traditional meals with meat, and we go to eat one of the famous sweets, which is called Konafa Nabulsi.
