On this day in 1948, the former Japanese Prime Minister Hideki Tojo was executed.

As Prime Minister of Japan, he was responsible for planning the attack on Pearl Harbor that sparked the war between Japan and the United States in 1941, although planning for it had begun in April 1941, before he took office.
The Japanese attack centered on an air raid that included two air waves with a total of 353 Japanese warplanes launched from six Japanese aircraft carriers, in addition to several midget submarines, to strike the American fleet in Pearl Harbor and destroy the American warplanes on the ground. As a result of the attack, four battleships of the US Navy were sunk, and four other battleships were destroyed. The Japanese also sank three cruisers, three destroyers, and one minelayer, in addition to destroying 188 aircraft. The attacks killed 2,402 people and injured 1,282 others.

Therefore, one of the reasons for striking America was the attack on its port, Pearl Harbor, and also Japan was brutal with East Asian countries, especially China.
The Japanese carried out large-scale massacre, rape, and pillage of civilians, most notably the massacre of Sokching and Nanjing, and used some 200,000 " women" who were forced to work as prostitutes for the Japanese army.
Hitting the nuclear bomb led to stopping World War II and stopping the increase in its casualties.
So I will ask you a moral question, if you were in the plane loaded with the nuclear bomb, would you press the button to hit the bomb or not?!
Nevertheless, I feel sorry for the victims of all wars, whether Japan, America or any other country
