The Kent Pearl Fringe Tiara

The Kent Pearl Fringe Tiara was created in the 1970s by combining Queen Mary’s Diamond Crochet Bandeau with the Pearl and Diamond Fringe Tiara of Princess Louise.

Here's what the Diamond Crochet Bandeau looked like:

The Ducchess of Kent wore the bandeau at her wedding in 1961 to Prince Edward, Duke of Kent:

In the 1970's the tiara was changed to this:

The base is the same, but the scrolls have been removed and replaced with a pearl and diamond fringe taken from Princess Louise's pearl and diamond fringe tiara.
