I decided to look more into TRON's coin because I've been hearing so much about it recently. Turns out the CEO and creator Justin Sun has a really good reputation both in Crypto and in business in general. He has been compared to Alibaba creator Jack Ma. Educated at Pittsburgh Technical Institute and appearing on Forbes 30 under 30 Asia list.... 3 times! including 2017. He also made significant contributions to Ethereum in the early days working with Vitalik and others.
I understand TRON just went over a cliff, but now the dust has settled around .04 cents, is TRON a long term player or am I crazy? Sun was featured in a Forbes article about TRON and their future as a digital currency to be used in entertainment markets like casinos. He states some growth objectives and says he hopes to get at least 10 million registered wallets on their network. I love online gambling (different from crypto investing :)) just saying.
The video at the top quotes the Forbes article (from August 2017 so kind of old) and highlights where Sun himself states he will donate TRONix coin to the first 1 million registered wallets on their network which can be found at tron.network. There were under 500,000 registered when I created mine a few days ago, all you need is an email to make your wallet (I don't feel safe funding mine yet...). Here is the quote:
"Sun boldly added: “We are very confident that TRON will reach a target of one million wallets registered within a year. The first million registered users will be rewarded with considerable TRX tokens by registering on the TRON platform.”
Does anyone know more about this? Are we still expecting free TRON coins? I just wanted to put it out there, I am still somewhat skeptical, but feel like the Justin Sun is a winner, and the most consistent marker of success I've found in the crypto space is when the developers are strong.
