There was a time when there was this generally accepted "dream" that HIVE would be home to 'quality content', a sort of exclusivity that many thought would set HIVE apart (I'm using HIVE as the name here, but this was really back in the days of the old chain).

I am of the opinion that that experiment failed miserably, that we need to be honest with ourselves and recognize that, and that we need to adjust and set more realistic goals that are more in line with successful social media models.
