I've thought about this one, and my reflex was to disagree with you because of how utterly contemptible these people are, and how they themselves often advocate and incite violence with their rhetoric.

On reflection though, I think you're right. At the end of the day, all it will do is galvanise their supporters into believing they are even more on the right side of the debate than before.
