Very interesting! I think your analysis as far as Huobi is spot on. It's hard to imagine that tech savvy exchange personnel, didn't understand what they were doing when they did. As far as the FBI being

Thank you for the information Bryan, I wasn't aware the stake has been unfrozen. Can I ask; was it unfrozen because of his exchange power up, or because the witnesses acquiesced and gave him back the stake?

Agreed, we need calm heads right now. Cg

I'm sorry I don't understand the question. How do you mean, watch for what in particular? Anyway, I think both sides need to move on from this, I've laid out how I think this should begin in my latest

You see, this is my point. Ned did not break that promise, he simply sold his stake to someone else. The witnesses then decided that Justin was going to use that stake to vote them out, so they froze it.

Sorry, I didn't see your reply. However since I asked that initial question, I've had it answered. The code they implemented, is in fact the very same code that's used to freeze accounts that have been

This is the most articulate, honest and objective summary I've yet read about the issues at hand. (The Minority Report analogy ... nice.) Thank you very much, kind sir!! :) the ultimate in censorship for

This is mental. In my mind, the witnesses need to give Justin his money back, they can then make demands from the moral high ground. Cg

You can see my take here The Great Steem Tron Meltdown Explained Cg

Well exactly, to restrict a particular account because you believe they are about to do something bad is an abuse of power, plain and simple. No wonder he called them hackers. Maybe they'll decide that

You make the point well when you say, the lords were scared that their power was about to be taken away. Cg

I don't think it's hard to answer at all. Legally Steemit inc own the IP for Steem, unless they have given up that IP, then it is they who own Steem. Cg

Yeah, that's the point. If it was never ratified as a legal document, then legally Ned was allowed to sell Steemit with the ninja-stake attached to it, allowing the new owner to do whatever they wanted

That I would imagine, is also illegal, especially under American law, definitely Chinese as well, as both those countries have pretty strict financial regulations surrounding finance and investments in

I was just pointing out that Steemit Inc is a legal entity in the United States, and therefore will have assets. The government definitely does have jurisdiction in this case. Cg

Good points. To add to that, I would question whether the agreement Ned made with the witnesses, is legally binding under US law. If it is, then Ned has broken the law, if it wasn't, then I fear it is

I actually agree with you, Justin should have retained the moral high ground and simply spoke to the witnesses. The real question is; why if the code was there ready to be implemented, was it not done

Funny! Cg

Very funny! :-D Cg

What a valuable input. I'm assuming you're calling me the old man yelling at the cloud? How so? I'm simply laying out what happened. You get triggered very easily, you shouldn't be such a snowflake. Cg
