Many people come to the Rila mountains to visit the monastery and enjoy the scenery. It is here you can enjoy both great food, fresh air and listen to the river flowing endlessly.

The area get a lot of tourists so it was good to see the menu in two languages. Sometimes they try but English just don't have the words for it! You can see in the menu sometime they can only use the original Bulgarian word.

As we're on a travel budget, we shared a salad and a main. Overall it tasted great together and filling as well. We got a beetroot and carrot salad, and a baked potato macaroni chicken for main. Something healthy to go with something cheesy.
Overall
The meal was delicious and fairly priced. It is in a great location and we enjoyed the outdoor seating very much. Would definitely return for more!
They even sell homemade jams!
