Hello, everyone I'm CryptoDivision! Lets get to know one another!
Hello!
First, I'd like to say I've thought about joining Steemit for a few months now but haven't joined until now. It seemed a bit intimidating at first. But after being a lurker, without an account, for three months - I figured it was time. It seems like there's a wonderful, experienced, and growing community in steemit and I'm excited to finally be a part of it.
But some information about me - I'm currently an economics student at BYU in my undergrad. I'm 23 years old and always looking to learn more and create more. I've always been interested in computers, finance, politics, and gaming so my interests follow those main topics pretty well.
I have been looking into cryptocurrency and the investing/monetary side of it for the past 8 months or so. But, I've been causally reading about crypto since 2016 - roughly. And recently it's really been consuming my free time as I just can't seem to get enough of it. I have been writing for my smallish blog - it's mostly doing coin analysis on the top ten cryptos but I plan to move into ICOs or valuation of cryptos? I am not sure yet.
Further, I worked for the Cato Institute - a libertarian think-tank - in Washington DC this last fall and learned a lot about libertarian thought. So some of my political thoughts likely lean libertarian.
My goal for schooling is to graduate from undergrad and eventually go to grad school for finance or economics. But as I'm also learning advanced math, programming, and cryptography in my free time to really understand crypto. Depending on how my hobbies turn out I may go into grad school for mathematics. But who knows.
I also play a lot of games too. I love Battlefield 1,3 and Counter-Strike global offensive. I also want to get Pubg. If any of you would like to play you should hit me up on steam: killerjag or on origin: Omegahadria.
But why am I on here?
I'm on here mostly to learn more and experience what a app built on a blockchain is really about. It will be my first experience using an app based on blockchain technology - I'm pretty excited.
Then I'm on here to connect with other cool people, learn more information on cryptocurrencies, and help stoke my other interests. I'm planning to write more on here as well as my blog. Most of my posts will probably be about crypto, gaming, or politics but I might also go off into other areas too. Anyways, hope to connect with a lot of you soon! Best of luck!
