I think it's a trend you'll see unfortunately across the industry.. KYC/AML requirements are coming to any exchanges that interact with the USD and I think that Poloniex is looking to add a fiat gateway

I tend to agree with you, it's a great point.. Prices went absolutely nuts and unfortunately hurt a lot of people who bought towards the top, but this reversion to the mean makes sense.
