[Cryptocurrency News] Binance could be banned from operating in Japan

Not good news today for bitcoin. The slump in price continues as bitcoin fights to recover and maintain an upward trend. Binance is one of the worlds largest cryptocurrency exchanges. However, it has now faced a sharp expression of disapproval by Japanese regulators. Japan's FSA (Financial Service Authority) is seeking to to stop Binance operating in Japan without official approval.

This is all happening in the wake of the $500m hack of CoinCheck. The FSA is wanting to be seen to be taking tough measures and coming down hard on digressiors. Hopefully Binance can resolve this issue in a timely and orderly manor with Japan's FSA. For the record Binance had been trying to acquire a FSA license in Japan so steps are already underway to remedy the situation. They are in constant dialog with the JFSA. We wish them all the success.

Bitcoin is currently trading down @ $8,706 as I write.
