Last week I was replying to a comment and needed to check some factual information so typed in the search on Google and voila an old post of mine from Hive appeared in 4th place. Not what I had been expecting, but just goes to show what using certain key words can do.
Sometimes we have no idea about the power of our content that we are writing as this is not easy to just do and in this case was more of a fluke than being intentional. Obviously one can target being in the first few on searches by using key words along with various links linking back to the post.
On Leofinance we have the leoglossary which some of us have been using and it literally takes a few minutes extra of your time to use. I do think it is worthwhile as we need as many eyes on Hive and Leofinance as possible externally in order to attract new faces. The more we have out there hitting views on searches the more likelihood people will become more inquisitive and possibly see what else you have written.
A few years back one of my articles was published in an online Formula One magazine which I stumbled upon whilst browsing twitter. We can make a difference and why producing consistent, quality articles is important along with knowing about the topic you are writing about.
We all have something to offer as we tend to have varied interests and expertise in different fields. Lately I have been concentrating on various Crypto projects I have invested in due to the research I am constantly keeping up to date with. At some point you do become an expert in that project as you know everything that is going on as there are just too many to stay up to date with along with all the new developments happening constantly.
