I do think the World is changing into a much different place than what we all knew 2 years ago. It is amazing how countries can change sides so quickly as there is no such thing as loyalty. We do need to pay attention as there is so much going on that could effect us all economically. There are some seriously weak leaders around and this has been the case for many years now.
On the one side you have Europe with the United States and on the other side is China, Russia and India with a few others who don't carry much weight. The you and them scenario is never a good idea as there are definitely two different camps with totally different ideas economically. This is more than having trade partners as they want to discard the US Dollar for all of their transactions. This is more about stopping the West's dominance over the rest of the World and changing the World order to some degree.
I just find it strange for the likes of China to choose sides when they trade with the US and Europe. This is more about playing both sides receiving cheaper fuels from mother Russia and selling finished products on to everyone else. They have clearly taken sides, but how can one have their cake and eat it at the same time as the West has allowed this to happen.
The BRICS partnership is only going to grow in size and then it will be a problem for the West. Can't you see that Africa despises Europe and the States, but are prepared to take the hand outs on offer. There is no loyalty here and I would say forget the hand outs and look after yourselves first. Africa blames the West for their poor economics yet we all know it is far deeper than that as they have all gained their independence and have done nothing since. Africa still wants to Unite to form a United Africa similar to the EU and what a shambles that will be.
Read between the lines as the West is forcing countries to join BRICS from how they are treating them and telling them what to do. Uganda and Tanzania were told to stop their Oil and Gas projects by the European Parliament. This is dangerous to dictate like this as you have just pushed two more countries into BRICS.
Apparently there are a few other countries who are also considering changing sides which would not be great.
I see many of the countries joining BRICS as being liabilities as they are already in so much debt but their natural resources is what they are after and is in many ways similar to what China has been doing for years with the Belt Road Initiative. This would just make easier access to the things they really want and that is position/control or a foothold in territories around the world rich in mineral deposits and raw materials.
Looking at the map pretty much the entire African continent could easily turn green as many are already in so much Chinese debt they have no choice. If things turn out the way it is looking there will be North America, Greenland, Europe, Australia and Japan with a few others dotted around against the rest.
You do start to see why so many conspiracy theorists believe the Ukraine Russian war was more than a war and was designed start a shift in world trade and new political partnerships.
