I have been patiently tapping my fingers for 3 weeks and finally 2 different suppliers have my keyboard replacement for my laptop. 7 to 10 days was what they said and today is now exactly 21 days. By the time I have paid and it is delivered it will be Friday so I am still roughly 1 week away from having my laptop back. I am pushing for Thursday delivery and still hopeful to have my laptop back Friday/Saturday, but realistically I am looking at next week. One can only try but I also need others to make that happen so it is not a controllable.
When I damaged my keyboard with a cup of coffee I had no idea I would be waiting for a month. The supply chain issues and businesses not keeping stock had never entered my thoughts. Over the last 2 years the world has changed so much the word "service" is a word that is used sparingly and is disappearing fast.
One can only try as I haven't touched the exchanges for 3 weeks and have held off due to not having log ins from a computer that has outdated software. I have been using Keychain up till now for Hive and nothing else as I am just trying to be as careful as possible.
Time is money and having a spare borrowed laptop has saved me plenty even though it has limitations. Still by the time I get mine back that would have still earned 1000 Hive and not time lost. Any growth is appreciated and especially when prices are this low as Hive is easier to earn.
All it goes to show you is you don't need a fancy set up but it does help if you have the bells and whistles. The way I normally operate is having 10 tabs open at once and get things done far quicker. I know I am not as active with this ancient model as 2 tabs is the max it can cope with.
The plan is to have two decent laptops in the future and one solely for Crypto and Hive as security is of the utmost importance. This becomes more so as you see the values rising in the various wallets and at some point will be worth a tidy sum. Investing in having the right set up will give you peace of mind and is common sense really.
You spend so much time earning and growing then security has to be at the top of your list protecting what you have accumulated. If you add a zero to the value of your wallet then it will change how you think.
