I don't think time really matters on Hive as long as you are consistent as this is more of a lifestyle you adapt to or it breaks you lol.

Today I received another badge stating I have been on Hive for 4 years which is a timely reminder that this is a long journey and not an over night rags to riches. Rags to riches as I was lucky enough to stick with it and managed to get where I am today with no monetary investment. The investment has all been time and sacrifice which one cannot put a financial value on. This is why Hive is so personal for myself as the value in the wallet doesn't reflect what has gone into this emotionally and mentally.

I have said this before starting out on Hive was the biggest challenge I had ever undertaken as the first 6 months was hellishly difficult, but all so worthwhile. I never had a clue what I was getting myself into, but very glad I stuck with it as I am proud of what has been achieved. I have heard others saying it is difficult, but remind yourselves that 4 years ago there were never so many opportunities that are around today to grow.

Hive has come a long way in 4 years and this has all been about the journey to succeed driven by the determination of the community. Many of you are die hard hard core members and a special breed who are smarter than most people I have met outside of Hive. The fighting spirit is alive on this blockchain and what makes it so special. Nothing stays the same for long in crypto and we all have to adapt to the next challenge.

Over the last 4 years I have amazed myself at what is possible with regard to account growth not letting up from day one. The same desire is still burning from day one which is surprising when I look at the stats.

I was never a fan of writing before I joined Hive and now I find it more of a relaxing time more medicinal in some ways. 2703 posts and growing is seriously crazy along with over 18 000 comments.

When I joined I had a fear of being swamped by mass adoption and looked at catching others up way ahead of me who had been on Hive for a year already. I think I can quite comfortably say I have caught most of them up as starting out as account number 828 518 4 years ago I am now 222.

If you are new and reading this you can achieve this as well as all it is is being committed and consistent over along period of time. What is 4 years if at the end of it you have the choices of financial freedom as I believe this
is what will happen for so many on Hive and the Tribes.

This is a long road to travel, but also a fun one as it is not lonely as there is a great community to chat with on the way. Cheers everyone and here is to the next 4 years.
