WPP ENERGY: FIRST BLOCKCHAIN-BASED GLOBAL RENEWABLE ENERGY SUPPLY MARKETPLACE
Developing renewable energy sources contributes largely to alleviating poverty, fuelling industrial production and transportation, expanding rural development and protecting health while promoting sustainability and environmental quality. Almost 1.3 billion in rural areas livw without access to electricity and about 2.7 billion without modern reliable energy services (UNDP, 2013). World power production (WPP) Energy is a platform which leverages on blockchain technology to utilize innovative and disruptive technologies to provide the world’s most affordable and efficient 100% clean energy, while reducing dependency on utility companies with their exorbitant costs for the supply of energy and power. • Renewable energy global Supply grid where green electricity supplies will be bought and sold between producers and users using WPP tokens
• Physical goods marketplace where renewable energy products will be exchanged between producers and end users
• Green Energy rebate programmes in which WPP tokens will be given as incentives to those conducting green energy transactions on Global Green energy platform
• Reputation feedback system to help instill trust and confidence in participants on the GGE Platform
• A crypto currency exchange platform where fiat and other cryptocurrencies can be converted into WPP tokens and allows for trading other cryptocurrencies listed on the exchange
DISRUPTIVE GREEN ENERGY TECH SOLUTIONS: This comprises of three innovative technology that aims at solving energy problems globally:
• WPP Energy mobile power station, a stand alone power station that will help achieve production of 1MW-8.5MW per hour of green electricity as well as conduct delivery of clean and inexpensive power solutions to all and sundry
• HHO conversion of polluting coal, oil, natural gas and gasoline power plants into low cost green energy for affordable utilization by the masses
• HHO Complete energy solutions introducing technologies that renders users free of paying for electricity bills for a period of time.
TOKENS
Tokens that fuel the economy of the ecosystem are known as WPP tokens. Built on the ERC20 smart contracts, they will serve as the currency for conducting transactions on the platform. WPP tokens will be used in buying and selling of global green energy, physical energy solutions such as equipments, machineries and services offered for sale on the platform. Also, arrangements are ongoing with federal governments to encourage utility companies to adopt WPP tokens as a means of payment for energy. Tokens will be available for sale during the public sale which started on July 15th and will last till September 15th 2018.
