In the quiet dance of day and night,
Life unfolds in shadows and light.
A fleeting play of dark and glow,
Where truths are hidden, and mysteries grow.
Shadows whisper where secrets lie,
Beneath the surface, beyond the eye.
They cradle dreams and fears alike,
In their embrace, both pause and strike.
Light, the herald of what is true,
Brings clarity to all it pursues.
It warms the heart, ignites the soul,
A guiding force that makes us whole.
Yet neither reigns in stark divide,
For both must walk the edge, abide.
Contrast weaves the story's thread,
Where depth is born and meaning鈥檚 bred.
So treasure both, the dark, the bright,
The hidden shade, the radiant light.
For life鈥檚 full beauty is only seen,
In the spaces where they intervene.
