A book unbound, where rivers fall,
A world of wonder, vast and tall.
Pages drift like whispered dreams,
Carrying magic on moonlit streams.
A sorcerer’s hat, a skyward flight,
Ink-stained spells take wing at night.
Hot air balloons in misty air,
Drifting thoughts beyond compare.
The sky dissolves in golden hues,
Where mountains melt in twilight blues.
A tethered soul holds on so tight,
Climbing words, chasing light.
Skulls may whisper tales untold,
Of stories lost and futures bold.
Yet through the dream, through mist and space,
The reader dares to leave a trace.
This poem is my entry for the Sparks Fly Contest under the theme Dreamscape.
