In a part of my video I discuss dates and rates of ethereum difficulty that will be implemented.
The actual dates and block times for when the "difficulty bombs" are supposed to be implemented...
August 25th - 25 sec. (approx. 19% less earned)
September 24th - 32 sec. (approx. 28% less earned)
October 31st - 41 sec. (approx. 50% less earned)
That means by October 31st it would take 41 seconds to mine one block of 5 ethereum)
The fix to this, Metropolis Byzantium, will return the network to 15 seconds but it is rumored that the block reward will reduce to 3.
Something to keep in mind though... the dev team has missed just about every single deadline that they have set so these dates are not set in stone but rough estimates.
