Etherum is really a great coin and it has many great features, just imagine all the ICO industries have used etherum based ERC 20 token. But it will always remain after Bitcoin in the crypto ecosystem, the reason is simple- the crypto sentiment is still being driven by the sentiment around Bitcoin and Bitcoin is still flagship coin of crypto ecosystem and that is why you see majority of the coins follow the same trail of Bitcoin.
I still believe that a time will come when etherum can be able to trade and valued independently and in the long run from now it can give better return than Bitcoin and Bitcoin will be more or less remain stable for the next 4/5 years, there will be many speculation going ahead but you should think and take decision independently based on your own homework.
