Our next destination was to visit the sovereign city-state of Monte Carlo, Monaco.

We decided to take a train from Nice which only took about 20 minutes along the coastline. Having already spent time in the French Riviera, we knew what to expect on the journey and the scenery of the meditteranean coastline didn't dissapoint!

Once we arrived in Monte Carlo, we set foot and began walking downhil towards the coastline. We didn't realise how elevated we were above sea level at first until we looked over the edge to witness an amazing view with gimpses of the harbor.

The Prince's Palace of Monaco which is the official residence of the Sovereign Prince of Monaco was a short trip by foot. We didn't enter the Palace but instead soaked in the warm sunlight and enjoyed the breath-taking views of the city.

A popular attraction in Monte Carlo is the Oceanographic Museum. There is a scenic route by foot which I highly recommend to take which winds along the cliff-edge. There are plenty of spots to take photographs of the harbor along the way.

Having seen a few aquariums around the world, the views of the coastal line and mediterranean was more exciting than the displays inside. Nethertheless, it was a great experience to see different marine species. Check out that yellow fish!

Few more pics.
