The Jessica Jones season 2 trailer came out and I am super excited to watch this new season. Jessica Jones is arguably my favorite series in the Netflix MCU TV Universe. The first season had the perfect amount of grittiness with a splash of comedy, which is perfect for her series. The first season dealt well with showing her battle with PTSD and Alcoholism, which is something you don't see in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The trailer shows a lot of action which is good because when Jessica Jones is a true brawler. She has good action scenes which really is highlighted in Netflix MCU crossover show "Defenders". This season seems to be focused on Jessica coming to terms with her powers and wanting to understand them more. This leads to her defending the ones she loves (or should i say the people she puts up with).
Near the end of the trailer there is a purple hue to the screen and hands clapping, which I think is a nod to the Purple Man(the villain in season 1). They have announced that his character is coming back, but the question is if he is just a figment of Jessica's imagination or if he has really returned. Regardless, I am really excited as he was a phenomenal villain.
