Today Zclassic's forerunner will create Bitcoin Private. Holders of Bitcoin and Zclassic will receive 1: 1 BTCP. The problem is that 93% of all ZCL coins are on the Bittrex exchange, which has not yet commented on whether to support this prospect.
This prospect was announced in December. Since then, traders have accumulated the coin, which has led to a significant price increase. In December last month, the price of Zclassic was about $ 10, and the current coin price was about $ 105.
Considering that 93% of the volume of trade comes from the US stock exchange, it has the power to stop Bitcoin Private from stopping. The exchange reported a few hours ago that it would not support the lead. The statement also says:
"Bittrex will not support the market for Bitcoin Private, but due to problems with Zclassic's portfolio, we will offer Zclassic holders assistance in obtaining and downloading BTCP."
Bittrex will stop Zclassic's trade 15 minutes before the moment the ZCL balance is shot.
Perhaps the exchange will not add BTCP to the list of trading coins, and Bitcoin will certainly not give Bitcoin Private to the holders of Bitcoin and Zclassic. Bearing in mind that Bittrex "holds" a huge portion of Zclassic's trade volume, it seems strange that Ret Critton and his team have not reached an agreement with the US stock exchange. Nevertheless, there is nothing to prevent traders from withdrawing their Zclassic coins and moving them into an exchange that he has previously promised to maintain a lead, such as Cryptopia.
Historically, Bittrex did not want to support Bitcoin claims, but the last such coin - Bitcoin Gold - was added to the stock exchange. Other exchanges, including HitBTC and KuCoin, have announced that they will support this prospect.
