From recently, opinions about the world currency are often heard.
As always, every opinion is "still only" an opinion individual...
What will be the world currency can not safely answer - anybody.
Only if there is a "world government" might the answer be easier.
“I think it’s not going to be the panacea that people once thought it would be, where it would solve all of these different kinds of problems,” Garlinghouse said on the sidelines of Money20/20 Euorpe, which is being held this week in Amsterdam.
“Instead, you’re seeing specializations of different kind of ledgers, different kinds of blockchains.”
He went on to say that the maximalist ideology of there being only one currency is not the way to go. “There’s some people in this, the crypto space, the blockchain space — for them, it’s almost a holy war of one versus the other. I don’t look at that at all,” he said.
Garlinghouse said there would be “many winners” in the adoption of cryptocurrencies, and recently in a separate CNBC interview said that he expected Bitcoin’s influence on the price of the other currencies in the cryptocurrency market would soon weaken as people begin to explore other options.

Square said in November that it would start enabling the buying and selling of bitcoin on its Cash app. Dorsey is also an investor in a star-up called Lightning Labs, which is developing technology to make bitcoin faster and easier to use.
He says:
"The Internet will have a domestic currency, so do not wait for it to happen, let us help it happen.
I do not know if it will be bitcoin, but I hope it will be, "Dorsey added at the consensus stage in New York this Wednesday.
At the "Money 20/20" conference in Las Vegas, in October 2017, said it Bitcoin was better than the US dollar.
