A lot of discussions with friends and family back home (UK) at the moment as we fly back for a week at the end of April. We will be celebrating our daughter's 16th birthday (her first one at home since we left 10 years ago) and the reason for so much correspondence was the fact that she was told yesterday that we have planned a big party to celebrate. So what is the relevance to the photograph? Well these are my mum's first homemade batch of Easter biscuits coming out of the oven. I believe that they are quite a British thing, as I have never really seen them elsewhere at Easter. They are my absolute favourite and I can't wait to tuck into a nice fresh batch when I get home for a week at Easter. 馃槉馃槉馃槉
