SegWit Bitcoin can solve the transaction fee problem. Bitfinex and GDAX from the largest crypto money trading stock exchange, eventually adopted the Bitcoin SegWit protocol. After these two bosses started using SegWit, transaction fees became available.
Transaction fees dropped after SegWit wallets started to be used
Bitfinex announced on February 20, 2018, and GDAX announced that on Feb. 23 Bitfinex will soon launch SegWit support for Bitcoin. In early March, both stocks successfully upgraded SegWit by replacing all of their infrastructures.
Most importantly, the acceptance of SegWit by the stock exchanges came after all crypto-currency investors began to react to lower Bitcoin wages. However, the crypto money exchanges SegWit update did not try to solve the problem as much as the demand. After SegWit wallets started to be used, transaction fees dropped and became faster.
SegWit wallets for Bitfinex customers are open for use
In a blog post dated February 20, 2018, Bitfinex announced that the transition to SegWit wallets was driven by lower withdrawal fees and improved transactional potential for transactions on the Bitcoin network. Bitfinex CTO Paolo Ardino made the following statement:
SegWit wallets are available for Bitfinex's respectable and loyal customers. SegWit not only provides an immediate advantage for users, but also forms the basis for future Bitcoin developments. By supporting SegWit addresses, Bitfinex addresses three of the biggest worries of crypto money investors: transaction fees, transaction speed and total network capacity. With this application, we are able to offer our customers up to 20% lower Bitcoin withdrawal fees, and we are pleased to be able to process faster than ever.
ShapeShift uses the most effective way to transfer Bitcoin between wallets
To send and receive Bitcoin, Bitfinex users have been given Bitcoin wallets featuring SegWit. Coincidentally, Alex Sieke, product manager of the GDAX company, made a similar comment in a blog post. At the moment, all Bitcoin that floats in and out of Coinbase and Bitfinex takes place over a SegWit-enabled address, resulting in a higher transaction cost and, consequently, lower fees placing a mined blot.
Apart from these transactions, ShapeShift, a popular service used to process one crypt money with another, also provided support for transaction collating on February 22, 2018. The company was one of the only large-scale SegWit buyers adopted in October 2017. Both SegWit and transaction collate support mean that ShapeShift is now using the most efficient way to transfer Bitcoin between wallets.
SegWit Bitcoin solves the transaction fee problem as expected
SegWit Bitcoin solves the transaction fee problem. As expected, the increasing adoption of SegWit has had a considerable impact on Bitcoin network fees. Although wages are lower than they were during the year 2017, the progress of the improved protocol has improved even further, despite partly falling transaction volume. For example; a Reddit user claims to have transferred $ 16,000 Bitcoin (BTC) (about 2 BTC) for a fee of $ 0.20.
Perhaps the crypto money exchanges may also have entered the competition on withdrawal fees. For example; Binance announced a 50% discount on the withdrawal fee, meaning that users will be able to shoot at 0.0005 BTC. However, ShapeShift now offers a low withdrawal rate for all stock exchanges with only 0.0001 BTC.
Crypto money transaction fees were debate during 2017
Crypto money transaction fees were the subject of debate throughout 2017. As a result of these discussions, hard forks have been applied to create many new subconsins. One of the most striking hard forkllar is Bitcoin Cash. On the other hand, many Bitcoin core developers and followers have opposed this ideology and have stated that the movement will lead to centralization. The Bitcoin development community also aims to develop second-tier platforms such as the Lightning Network as a solution to the scalability problem.
SegWit and Lightning Network Bitcoin may be bad news for hard fork and other Bitcoin-like crypto money. Bitcoin Cash transaction fees have already passed the Bitcoin transaction fees for smaller transaction sizes. Bitcoin Cash developers will have to find a solution to compete. However, it is clear that if the transaction fees are based on bitcoin prices, as somehow parametrina suggests, the situation can not be judged precisely without reaching the highest price all the time.
