Hi Hive Gaming Community!

I am here to talk to you about a very important matter, which is the Game Backlog.

A Game Backlog is a game list of video games that are whether is in your Wishlist or already in your Library but for some reason you were unable to start or to finish but for sure you want some day to play.

In my list there are 161 games, from older titles to brand new ones, from RPGs to Walking Simulators, the majority for PC, very few are for consoles but I try not to add them because for now I am just a PC gamer only, but I am considering buying a Nintendo Switch or wait for the Switch 2 (already hear rumors about it).

From the videos I watched in YouTube talking about their Game Backlog, I see that they put a deadline to complete the list and for me, it would be not the same, I will not put a deadline to finish my Game Backlog, I would prefer to enjoy the game, that's the main reason I started a game list in the first place, to actually enjoy the game and the experience but I am not saying that I will play randomly any of the games in the list, I also need to arrange the list to see which is more appealing to me in that moment in time, which will I have to invest less time on it. Imagine to have to play Persona 5 with the spare time I have in the week, it would take me months to finish the game followed by let's say an Assassin's Creed title, I definitely have to optimize my game list.

I would have to say that I will be streaming some of the games in my YouTube/Twitch channel (linked below) when I find a game interesting enough that ultimately will help me creating content for my blog here on Hive.

Here's 5 games I would like to play right now:

Resident Evil 2 Remake

I played RE2 in the N64 back in the old days and remember that I only played during the day because of... you know... I was like 10yo and I tent to scare easily.

Fallout/Skyrim/Starfield (any Bethesda game like those)

Believe it or not, I never played any of Bethesda's games, neither any of the Fallouts or the Elder Scrolls titles, a friend told me that Fallout Last Vegas was great experience to him, so I have a good recommendation.

Vernal Edge

Recently I played The Last Faith which is a Metroidvania pretty much like Blasphemous or Castlevania but left me with a need for more and I think Vernal Edge will fill that void. I played the demo months ago and I like it, the movement of the attacks, the exploration, it seems Vernal Edge is not your typical Metroidvania, I got high hopes on it.

Baldur's Gate 3

I've watched the videos on YouTube about this game and are awesome, every playthrough is different, I cannot wait to see what adventures awaits for me.

Cyberpunk 2077

Although, I already played Cyberpunk 2077, I played the old version, not the revamp version from a couple of months ago, I never finished the complete story/campaign and I also want to play the DLC, Phantom Liberty, to continue the story of V.

I will leave things up here, but first I want to know if you ever heard of having a Game Backlog or if you already have one, please let me know, suggest me one game on your Backlog.

¡Hola, comunidad de Hive Gaming!

Estoy aquí para hablales de un asunto muy importante, el cual es el Game Backlog o tu lista de juegos atrasada.

Un Game Backlog es una lista de videojuegos que están en tu Lista de Deseos/Wishlist o que ya están en tu Biblioteca, pero que por alguna razón no pudiste comenzar o terminar, pero seguro que quieres jugar algún día.

En mi lista hay 161 juegos, desde títulos antiguos hasta nuevos, desde RPG hasta Walking Simulators, la mayoría para PC, muy pocos son para consolas porque trato de no agregarlos ya que por ahora solo soy un jugador de PC, pero si estoy pensando en comprarme una Nintendo Switch o esperarme a la Switch 2 (ya se escuchan rumores al respecto).

Por los videos que vi en YouTube hablando de su Game Backlog, veo que ponen una fecha límite para completar la lista y para mí no será el caso, no pondré una fecha límite para terminar mi Game Backlog, preferiría para disfrutar el juego, ya que esa es la razón principal por la que comencé una lista de juegos en primer lugar, para realmente disfrutar el juego y la experiencia, pero no estoy diciendo que jugaré aleatoriamente cualquiera de los juegos en la lista, también necesito organizar la lista para ver cuál me resulta más atractivo para mi en ese momento, en cuál tendré que invertir menos tiempo. Imagínate tener que jugar Persona 5 con el tiempo libre que tengo a la semana, me llevaría meses terminar el juego seguido de, digamos, un título de Assassin's Creed, definitivamente tengo que optimizar mi lista de juegos.

Debo decir que transmitiré algunos de los juegos en mi canal de YouTube/Twitch (Link más abajo) cuando encuentre un juego lo suficientemente interesante como para ayudarme a crear contenido para mi blog aquí en Hive.

Aquí hay 5 juegos que me gustaría jugar ahora mismo:

Resident Evil 2 Remake

Jugué RE2 en el N64 hace mucho tiempo y recuerdo que solo jugaba durante el día porque... ya sabes... tenía como 10 años y me asustaba fácilmente.

Lo creas o no, nunca jugué a ninguno de los juegos de Bethesda, ni a ninguno de los títulos de Fallouts o Elder Scrolls, un amigo me dijo que Fallout Last Vegas fue una gran experiencia para él, así que tengo una buena recomendación.

Vernal Edge

Jugué la demo hace meses y me gustó, el movimiento de los ataques, la exploración, parece que Vernal Edge no es el típico Metroidvania, tengo muchas esperanzas puestas en él.

He visto los videos en YouTube sobre este juego y son increíbles, cada partida es diferente, no puedo esperar a ver qué aventuras me esperan.

Cyberpunk 2077

Aunque ya jugué Cyberpunk 2077, jugué la versión anterior, no la versión renovada de hace un par de meses, nunca terminé la historia/campaña completa y también quiero jugar el DLC, Phantom Liberty, para continuar la historia de V.

Aquí voy a dejar las cosas, pero primero quiero saber si habias oido hablar de las Game Backlog o si ya tienes una, hazmelo saber en los comentarios y sugiéreme un juego de tu Backlog.
