Currently, I do not have any mining equipment at home yet. So far I have only been able to invest in cloud mining. I am invested with Genesis Mining, Hashing24, and Hashflare. I am wanting to get more involved with cryptocurrency and showing my support for it. I have been looking into setting up my own node here at home. This will allow me to feel more involved and show my support for Bitcoin, Segwit, and help maintain a healthy network.
There are nodes that I could purchase from Bitseed, but I am more interested in building one with a raspberry pi. I also have an old laptop that I will be doing a factory reset on and setting it up as a node as well. I plan to purchase the raspberry pi very soon along with all the other small things that I need to get it up an running. Maybe down the road I will be validating my own transactions.
I am a huge believer in Bitcoin and want to show my confidence and support for it in any way I can. We should all be running a node, as we all have something to lose. I look forward to showing my support for Segwit and helping to maintain a decentralized network.
