Please forgive me if I've offended; never my intent, dear friend of many years.🙏 I'm so glad and reassured to hear that you and @countrygirl are well.❤️

However, now I must set my tin foil hat aside for a moment and—first of all—recognize that I likely have improperly mis-emphasized your nation (Canada) in a careless fashion. In retrospect, I can see that my message seems to have singled out Canada; I apologize for not (in the same breath) mentioning all the other tyrannies in the world. My only thought was to mention your personal environs in the context of wondering how your particular government has been affecting your personal life lately.

Hoping to remedy that (and simultaneously hoping I'm not merely exacerbating my offense), please know that I hold the United States of America in equal if not greater contempt. Also that my beef is not in the slightest measure with the people, the culture, the general polite and sane society, the safe and pleasant, yea, beautiful environs of your nation. I treasure every memory of my past visits to Canada and look forward in the hope of visiting again sooner rather than later.

Nay, my complaint is entirely with the beastly and increasingly coercive and oppressive organized gangs of thugs that claim hegemony over our lives, to an ever greater extent in every nation of the world. My thesis (which a great deal of my writing these days attempts to express) is that human states (i.e. the political organizations as we know them, including all their hierarchical systems from nations to 'states' or 'provinces' to counties to cities) are fiefdoms in satan's global kingdom, and that they are in fundamental violation of God's law, and consequently enemies of Christ's Kingdom.

In an attempt to clarify my specific concerns—concerns that are concrete, and that (I believe) cannot be simply dismissed as "conspiracy"—I will now explicitly and with references enumerate a few that I've observed.

• Individual and collective bank accounts frozen absent due process
• Pastors oppressed for holding church services
• Overreach by police powers
• Travel restrictions (admittedly for the moment, mostly lifted)
• "Mandating" of experimental vaccination
• Expanding euthanasia laws

And I know I could make an even more extensive list of instances for the USA...

I recognize that our respective opinion about the relative gravity of each of these situations undoubtedly differs, but felt I had to at least push back against the assertion that my hat is entirely constructed of tin foil.😜

Of course, John, I realize from our many past conversations that we see the world through very different lenses, and that you have no desire to "change my mind," and I appreciate and respect that. Likewise this reply is not another attempt on my part to "change your mind," but rather to try and explain what troubles me personally about what I seem to be seeing.

Finally, I am truly curious as to your thoughts and attitude about the specifics I've mentioned here? However, I also understand and accept that you may not care to share them, and I treasure your friendship and good will no matter what.🙏😀
