We wrote about the anniversary we were looking forward to few weeks ago, and I wrote about looking forward to my mom's birthday, which is today. I want to tell you all about it, because it was such a beautiful day and I am sure my mom totally had an amazing birthday celebration.
My brother and I already made some plans down before today, and it was quite exciting to do so. We planned things without the knowledge of our mom, and our dad was involved in it to.
The day started with me trying to fix my hair after waking up looking homeless. I didn't want to look weird in the pictures that we'd take today, and I also have an event to attend tomorrow. Mom had already gone to school by this time; she is a primary school teacher. I was making plans on how to make my hair, when my brother informed me that the baker said the cake was ready and he wanted to go pick it up.
I used the opportunity to go make my hair, so that we can go to mom's school to surprise her with the cake by the time he gets back and I also get my hair done. My hair didn't take so much time, but it still took a while. I was the one that delayed the plan at the end of the day.
By the time I got back home, took my bath and got dressed, it was already past the school time; you know schools close early on Fridays. However, we got lucky when we took the cake there and some of her colleagues were still around, doing after school lesson. We all sang for her, and her colleagues prayed so much for her, and also my brother and I. We told mom about the other people involved in getting her that cake, and she sent her prayers to them (my brother's friend and also gifted) Mom was really happy, I could see it on her face. That made me really glad, honestly.
When she got back home, I presented her with the gift my dad got her; A bottle of perfume(sold by yours truly😌). She was very glad about that as well because she is a big lover of perfumes. She told my brother to get snacks from a nearby supermarket and that was when I bought the next gift I wanted to present to her in courtesy of my cousin and I. I bought a nice fabric, and sent the picture to my cousin as well; she liked it.
When I presently the fabric to her, she was so happy because she loved it so much. After this, she probably thought that was all we had in store for her, but we hadn't even gotten to the biggest surprise yet.

We told him to get back from work early today so he can drive us all to a restaurant for a family dinner. When we finally told mom to get ready, she was lost and wondered where we were going to. We all got in the car, and went to the destination. Mom didn't even know where we were taking her, she was just so marveled at all the things we put together to make her day special. She prayed and prayed and prayed and prayed.
We ordered for milkshakes first, while we wait for the actual meal. I was disappointed at the restaurant's quality or variant of milkshake served. I went to a restaurant with starstrings and the milkshake was so nice, I thought that was how milkshakes were generally meant to be. Well, the food took a lot of time before it got ready.
Everyone had really nice meals, and mom most especially had the nicest. She had prawns, beef, chicken and whatnot in her meal and I wished I ordered what she ordered. We all enjoyed our meals and had a great time hanging out together. Mom was really happy, and she mentioned that she has never had a birthday like this one. We really made her day and she was so so grateful. I do pray it gets even better from now.
