We are living stressful times now. I think that nobody expected what is happening right now, including me. Our manner of thinking is usually ignoring everything that could go wrong and we focus on the positives. I was always fascinated by the process of thinking.
How do we end up believing what we believe? When I paint I think about a feeling. And after I can identify with the feeling, I get the idea of how I want to paint or draw it. With this oil painting...It was pretty simple. I wanted to capture that glimpse of a moment when we contemplate
I love to start a painting in a simple manner. This time, I finger painted the whole thing. A pair of gloves and bring it on. I love how the simplicity of the fingerpainting allows me to focus my attention on the message rather than on the medium
I love blue, turquoise and green. These are one of my favorite colors. I love to use them often in my paintings.
I rarely paint with oil because I find the smell of it pretty disturbing for me because I am alergic, but nevertheless I love the texture of it. I am used with spending many hours on my works of art , but in this case...I finished it pretty fast. That only happens when I finger paint.
I am feeling pretty contemplative now, thinking about the times that we are going through and rethinking my decisions. I think that despite the negativity, I can be grateful that such a harsh moment with this virus can show you the true character of people around you. And it's enough to make you full of thoughts and worries...
