Hey! The times we are living are a novelty for our generation. Just like wars were to our grandparents decades ago. How to cope with difficult times and inner struggles? I have read about it in the books I felt I wanted to read long after I graduated. So here we can see how schools do not prepare individuals for life.
Casting the blame is a temporary band aid and I agree with you on that. After all, it is our responsibility to deal with the cards we have received .The frustration of many comes when , at the adult point of life, you realize that you have been in a rat race thinking that you were in open grass fields. And there is no manual on how to handle a spiritual crisis. We learn through them.
Oh children...I would lie if I would say that I am not on the same page with you some days. I am also wondering about this too, especially that I am a woman and I look at a child as being a true gift. To bring this gift into this world, as it is now, is scary . I understand and feel you and this shows that our society really has some major flaws when crises arise.
I am not alone. You are not alone. We are not alone in this as many feel the way I feel and there is no turning back from there. I do not expect a magic solution and I have found power in looking at what is good in my life. It definetely helps with the anxiety of not knowing where to.
The past is gone, I can't go back . The future ....can be so many things and this can also cause anxiety. I do make daily effort to be mindful and look in the present moment. If they would ever make a school of mindfullness I would totally prefer to enrol my child there than in a classical schooling system. The way our brain is shaped during childhood can support future resilience or constant struggle. In the end, spiritual, mental and emotional health are the most important. And every decision should first include those as priorities. Thanks so much for reading and writing your thoughs🤗
