This was very powerful to read, and I identify with a lot of the messages in it.
I'm at a point in life where I haven't found my calling, and sometimes it weighs me down. But in the end I don't necessarily blame the government or the system for it because I could have done a lot of things a lot differently I think.
A lot of it is just the cards handed to us in life too.
But I see other people who have careers, families or spouses, and I realize that even though it sometimes feels like I just can't do those things.
It's not so much that I feel like it's too late to move forward on things, but it's almost like the state of the world is just so backwards now.
I never really wanted children, but with my ex-fiance I finally felt like I could see having them with her. But in the past 2 years the world has become so crazy that if I had children I wouldn't know how to raise them in the world I find myself in today.
Either way, just know you're not alone. Try not to think about the past, and just focus on what you can do today and tomorrow that you know is good and real.
