I am socially awckward when it comes to chit chat. I had to improve my skills a lot because it does not come naturally to me. I work in a beauty salon so imagine....the chit chat. I work alone and it took me years to learn it. To be honest with you I find chit chat boring and shallow...but yes, people can't start pouring their hearts out like this. And there is a good thing in chit chat : people will tell you who they are if you really listen.....yeah this is deep...

I am a little hermit at heart . For mw having a small number of quality connections is more than enough. I do not crave social mingling unless it brings me with likeminded people. I feel better alone than doing chit chat with no feeling of genuine connection.
