Hello my introvert friend! It was lovely to read your reply as it is like I am reading fragments from my own life. Funny that you mention about "how to be more extrovert" books as indeed I never saw once a book or an advertisement saying "learn 10 tips to become more introverted". Haha. This suggests how much the culture has promoted extroversion as the only way to success.
I think that creating in solitude is the only way to produce something meaningful.
I also find big groups of people to be not my cup of tea, as I find it pretty exhausting socially and it does not fit my personality. A lot of blabber, insignificant talk and overall boredom.

I think you will love the book. It also has a lot of humour as Susan went to one of the seminars of Tony Robbins and describes her experience of becoming more "enthusiastic" in a very amusing way. She really brings scientific arguments that demolish the pedestal of extroverts and shows how many ignored qualities introverts have.

Have an awesome day and thanks a lot for stopping by and reading!
