Hello! Yes, there are cultural differences. But the trauma is universal. A traumatized child will grow up as an unhappy adult, regardless of the culture. I believe in putting the well being of the child above the cultural norms. Of course that this is difficult as you have to challenge the status quo and few dare to do that.
