In moments of anger and distress this is when emotional intelligence is tested/perfected. Many fail.I do agree that it's very much about control and decision making. Not showing off emotions is not good, while showing off too much reveals a lack of emotional expertise. A fine balance is needed. I think that having emotional intelligence can be a high value trait for those who work often with people.
