I agree with not maintaining relationships with people who do not respond positively to our kind gestures. There is an old saying that I like and it goes well with your idea don't cast your pearls in front of swine. So it's never good to give time to people who do not value us. By doing that, we're keeping out of our lives potential people who would be right for us.
