I think that building a house together is definetely a hard thing to do. I would not fancy doing that with just any partner. But you can live for a lifetime with someone and still don't know them. People do weird things under pressure. A happy relationship is a place where there is a lot of elasticity. Circumstances change, we change, we adapt to each other. It's definetely not easy. If only people would be as easy as a keyboard lol. They're not. And when children come into the couple's life... They whole dynamic changes. I think that the better we adapt to change, the happier the relationship is.
