I managed to ruin a good pair of jeans while I was using bleach to remove mold from some very dark corners of my beauty salon. Of course that I could have prevented this if I were to wear "working clothes", but why bother ?
I looked at the pair in dismay....I felt quite annoyed with my own ignorance and took the bottle of bleach and started to spritz the magic smelly liquid all over the darn thing. Hahaha. This was the beginning of a beautiful project called "paint them like they were never ruined"
Yes, this won't be shown at Milano Fashion Week anytime soon. Wait for it.....
So I took my textile paints and figured that I could just paint them for myself. No limits , no special requirements, just going with the flow. Often in my life I have felt like a little alien visiting Planet Earth. Maybe this is a common thing for an artistic creative nerd, to feel like they do not belong to the species🤣.
So in my free time , while being at work, I started to beautify my jeans. I wanted to write I live on another planet both in romanian and english. I wanted bright bold colors.
I feel that this style represents my personality when I am joyful. A woman with vivid imagination, who spends her time mostly day dreaming and imagining all sorts of possible futures.
Only at the end I realized that my jeans match with my beloved plants haha. Go green or go home I shall say. I like them. I saw that most people were drawn to the design as it is super colorful and pretty. I rarely see people wearing colorful happy clothes. We should embrace our inner child more and give up to the idea what once we are adults we should only dress oh so serious. We don't have to.
