Beauty lies in the eye of the beholder so they say.
I believe than feeling beautiful should always depend on inner perspective as the external world can often misinterpret what we call beauty.
I have chosen to paint this frog next to this simple text "I am beautiful" in order to suggest this concept. The frog, a creature seen as ugly by many people, can actually become pretty if you spend enough time to study the color patterns, the shapes, the amazing way in which God created this little animal.
There are many animals which at the first glance would be considered ugly. We can see owners of pets who keep the oddest animals and call them "my baby" . For someone looking from the outside that sounds just impossible. How can this be beautiful? But beauty is not always about just the appearance. It can be about personality, rarity, color, texture etc.
Most of all I think that beauty is about perspective, the way we look at certain things. By having this point of view one can find the extraordinary in the simple things which for some have become invisible or despicable.
