Sleeping servals - photos shot by me few days ago in a zoo in Warsaw

Few days ago I was in a zoo in Warsaw, Poland. This sleeping serval won my heart.

Servals are widespread in sub-Saharan countries. Those sweet predators hunt for small mammals, birds and insects, and they also eat grass. They lifespan in the wild is about 10 years, but it can extend to up to 20 years in captivity.

Unlike other cats, servals are great swimmers and they're even better as runners (their speed can reach 80km/h). They're able to leap 3 metres when they're hunting. Their claws are deadly for their prey.
