Cuidense.

Hello friends 🌷 I wish you all well. Today was a bit of a stressful day, I had to leave the house early, shop at the market, take care of the food and tidy up a bit. Usually my Sundays are less hectic, but today a lot of activities needed to be done. Then I took a few hours for procrastination and distracted myself by reading some tweets. That's how I spent most of the day. In the afternoon my son started to do some tests using plastic soda bottles, he asked me for help and I gladly collaborated with him. While we were doing that, some ideas came up to make crafts with other bottles that we have around here. So I decided to look for the materials to create this project. I hope you like it 🙋❤️🤗
I had these two 1L bottles in stock since I use them to carry cold water when I go downtown or take my mom to her medical checkups. So I decided to use them today to make this project, which I really enjoyed. I wasn't crafting since last month we did a house cleaning and got rid of a lot of raw materials we had saved, overkill, so I was left with very few things to recycle. I used the following materials to make my CUTE SWEET BONDED BEARS:
🐻 Recycled brown folder.
🐻 Lustrillo paper.
🐻 Glue: cold silicone and glue stick.
🐻 Silicone gun.
🐻 Scissors.
🐻 Graphite pencil.
🐻 Markers.
🐻 Two clean, dry plastic bottles.
🐻 We start by cutting the base of the bottle. We need to choose the height that the candy holder will be which will give us the depth and space needed to hold the candy. Mine only hold candy so I didn't cut them that high.
🐻 We draw the figure or face of the bear on the brown folder on the back. Using the plastic base of the bottle we will get the exact size that the face will have. We take the opportunity to draw the two ears.
Cut out the inner part of the ears for the bear from beige glossy paper and glue them on.
Next we drew, cut out and glued on the brown folder each of the parts of the bear's face: eyes, nose and snout. I did this by hand, calculating the measurements of both bottle bases. In addition, I made a ribbon that I also cut out of lustrillo paper and then glued it to the folder. If we use the lustrillo paper only the face is deformed when glued. I also cut out two strips of brown paper to border the outside edge of the plastic. I did this only on the teddy bear candy box.
🐻 I started putting the whole design together by placing the blue ribbon I previously drew with marker at the bottom, at the center of the face drawn on the folder, to highlight the lines.
🐻 I checked how many candies I could fit. Into the bear went five chewy coffee candies. I left them in there and then with silicone glued the folder to the plastic. This sealed the candy box.
Following the same steps I made with another piece of folder and a smaller plastic (the bottle was 1L and for the bear 1½ L) the face of the bear. For her I made an old pink ribbon. The eyes are smaller. The colors of the ears, nose and snout are in white and beige.
🐻 I am very happy with the result. Besides being dulceros they are also mini piñatas since to get the candy out the kids will have to get a little distracted looking for where to do it. I'm sure they won't break them 🤭!
I am happy to share with you my creations. Thank you very much for your support. All photos are my property. I edited with Polish. I used DeepL translator 😉 See you later. Take care of yourselves.
